Additional Features
85-125 Grains
Three weight options, including an ultralight 85 grains so hunters can build as lightweight of arrows as they need for long distance accuracy.
Main Blade: 1 1/32" | Bleeder Blade: 3/4"
The low-profile SLR (Solid Long Range) main blade profile is engineered for maximum forgiveness and accuracy on long-range shots while ensuring great penetration as the arrow loses momentum downrange.
All SLR braodheads feature Standard (8-32) threads, which is the industry norm for a strong connection to a variety of arrow insert types, including Iron Will HIT Inserts.
LOW PROFILE MAIN BLADE
For bow hunters looking for maximum forgiveness on long-range shots, Iron Will SLR Broadheads feature a low-profile main blade engineered to cut lift in half. These blades produce less wind drift, more forgiveness with form and bow tuning issues, and reduced drag. The resulting low-profile main blade is ideal for spot-and-stalk hunting in unpredictable and variable conditions. With the SLR's reduced lift, bow hunters can experience fixed blade reliability with field point accuracy, extending your effective range and turning opportunities into successful harvests.
Sharp + Stout Blades
All Iron Will broadheads are engineered to be extremely sharp and stay that way. As arrow velocity and momentum decrease at longer distances, a razor-sharp cut-on-contact fixed blade becomes increasingly critical for maximizing penetration and ensuring lethal performance.
That’s why SLR broadheads are built from premium A2 Tool Steel, which is a material trusted in industrial metal stamping dies designed to cut other steels under extreme loads. Its unique balance of impact toughness and edge retention allows the blades to withstand heavy bone impacts while preserving a surgically sharp edge. The result is a low-profile broadhead engineered to penetrate efficiently, start razor sharp, and stay sharp all the way through the animal, even at long range.
Tanto Tip
SLR Broadheads feature a precision engineered cut-on-contact Tanto Tip with a 25-degree-per-side grind, optimized for maximum durability, penetration, and long-range accuracy. By widening the tip profile compared to conventional broadhead designs, the tip gains additional structural strength and rigidity to better withstand heavy bone impacts without bending or breaking, preserving arrow momentum when penetration matters most. The low-profile Tanto design also minimizes surface area at the leading edge, reducing aerodynamic influence for improved accuracy at extended distances. US Patent 10,054,409.
“When I designed the SLR, the goal was to eliminate the compromise between fixed blades and mechanicals. Hunters wanted long-range, field-point accuracy without sacrificing the strength and penetration reliability of a fixed blade. The low-profile geometry of the SLR minimizes lift and wind impacts while still delivering substantial cut width, giving hunters the confidence to shoot fixed blades at any distance.
What sets the SLR apart is that it maintains exceptional penetration, even on lower-energy long-range impacts and difficult follow-up shots. By combining a compact profile, durable Tanto Tip, and premium tool steel construction, we engineered a broadhead that delivers both accuracy and penetration without compromise.”
