Building the right arrow for long range 3D shoots like TAC not only ensures accurate shot placement, but ensures your arrow has the best chance for surviving mis-hits as well.
These shoots provide a great opportunity to test unique shot angles and distances. Practicing these shots helps bow hunters learn the extent of their capabilities, which provides confidence during the hunt.
To understand your limits as a bow hunter, you must first be willing to risk a miss. When it comes to building the ideal TAC arrow, we look for an arrow that can provide reliable accuracy while surviving the mis-hits that help you understand your effective range.
WHAT GOES INTO THE IDEAL 3D ARROW SETUP?
An arrow is only as strong as its weakest link. Using a premium field point without an equally strong connection to the arrow results in a dreaded mushroomed arrow on hard impacts.
Great TAC arrow setups that survive mis-hits start with the front of the arrow - what we call the Reinforced HIT System. Iron Will’s Reinforced HIT System builds strength down into the arrow with a composite layering of hardened metal (HIT Insert), carbon fiber (arrow), and hardened metal (Impact Collar) to provide improved arrow connection strength over outserts or half-outs, and is capped by a high strength field point.
Additionally, Iron Will Field Points are engineered to better match the flight characteristics of fixed blade broadheads, so after the 3D shoot is over, hunters can seamlessly switch to broadheads.
HIT (Hidden Insert Technology) is used under license as a registered trademark of Easton Technical Products.

ARROW SAFETY
*IMPORTANT: Flex your arrow and check for any damage to the carbon shaft whenever you miss a target. Practice arrow safety before shooting any arrow, especially after misses.
