Snort-Wheezing Whitetail
"Very good first impression of my new (this year) Iron Will broadheads. I switched away from a competitor's brand after some misfortune last year.
When I climbed the large spruce tree into my stand on November 5th, I had no idea this old warrior would be coming in. While he was not my target whitetail, I wasn't going to pass him up, especially with the shot opportunity he presented. I've never experienced such a vocal whitetail, after a few rattling sequences, I first heard a faint snort-wheeze. I couldn't see anything in the thick brush but sent a couple soft grunts his way. A few minutes later he snort-wheezed again, closer this time. I grunted softly again and he grunted back numerous times while he closed the distance. Before he came into view, he thrashed a willow shrub, then snort-wheezed again! Finally, I caught movement some 75 yards away and i soon coaxed him into the open, grunting back and forth the whole time. I watched him thrash another shrub, grunt some more while he slowly made his way out to the field edge. When he was under my stand I drew, waited for him to clear the branches beneath my spruce tree, then released, watching my arrow reappear in the spot he had just been standing, a mere 7 yards from the base of my tree. He went 35 yards, gave me another grunt, and piles up dead right there! Probably not a high scoring deer but my heaviest and oldest archery buck to date. I'm hooked on the Iron Will broadheads! Thank you for making such a lethal product!"
