Illinois Whitetail Bow Hunt
"Wanted to take a minute to show my appreciation for these products. I’ve been using the 125 grain Single Bevel broadheads and 25 grain impact collars for 3 seasons now and couldn’t be happier with the results.
Was able to get it done again this year on a great Illinois public land buck, my biggest ever. I had heard stories about these broadheads being so sharp and requiring so little force to penetrate that some animals hardly react when they’re shot. I was skeptical until I experienced it for myself on this buck. When I shot him at 10 yards, he hardly seemed to spook. He only ran about 15-20 yards before stopping behind a tree and standing there for a bit. He then slowly walked away and out of sight before crashing within earshot. This, along with the massive blood trail that he left, made for an easy tracking job. I was following a solid stream of blood rather than drops.
When I recovered my arrow, it had buried 6+ inches into the sandy soil. And while I will touch it up beforehand, the broadhead was still sharp enough to put right back in the quiver and use again with confidence."
