Deer This Year, Elk Next Year
"2024 season is a wrap and massively successful! I’ve had success in the past with the 125 grain Wide broadheads, but wanted to try single bevel wide for my first ever elk hunt in 2025. Thus, I wanted to shoot them to see results at a deer before trying it on an elk.
As always, Ironwills have proven to be made with very tight tolerance and ultra sharp. These single bevels were no different. I had a pretty nice Illinois buck at 40 yards, smoothly drew back and had the most perfect release of my arrow. Arrow was stuck in the dirt 6” after complete pass through. Heard the buck crash in the woods but wanted to experience a track job with my brother (it was his first one ever).
Not much blood for about 25 yards then it was like a 1992 OJ crime scene. By brother and friend were in disbelief at devastation the single bevel caused. Awesome old buck I shot!
I was also was very happy to see a square hole! The broadhead did exactly what Ironwill advertised, and these have absolutely made their way into my quiver for my future elk hunt. Thank for you doing what you guys do! What a great experience this hunt was with my brother and best friend!"
